John Martin

John Martin is a seasoned professional in information security and educational technology, currently serving as VP & Sr. Risk Analyst for Enterprise Information Security at First Hawaiian Bank since July 2021. Martin's extensive experience includes being a Board Member for Open World Cause, where efforts to improve education access were highlighted through involvement with HIP Africa in Kenya. Previous leadership roles include past president and president of NHSTE, driving technology advocacy and professional development in education. Martin has held various positions in educational institutions, including CIO/CISO and Director of Innovation & Technology at Inter-Lakes School District, Technology Director at Plymouth Elementary School, and Technology Solutions Provider through a consulting business. Academic credentials include a CAGS in Educational Leadership and Administration and an M.Ed. in Educational Technology from Plymouth State University, along with degrees in Kinesiology from the University of New Hampshire and Liberal Arts from Chaminade University of Honolulu.
