Manuel Girbal

Manuel Girbal is a seasoned security and risk management professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as the Security Manager and Corporate Security Manager for Risk Assessment, Asset Protection, and Business Continuity at Tigo Honduras since August 2021, Manuel has previously held key positions such as General Manager at A1 Armor, where skills in negotiation, financial analysis, strategic planning, and business development contributed to the company's growth in a challenging market. As a Partner at GN&A Consulting, Manuel specialized in risk assessment and management for banking and energy projects and conducted high-risk protection training. Earlier career achievements include establishing and managing the security department at Grupo Financiero Ficohsa and serving as an Infantry Officer in the Honduran Army, where responsibilities included providing personal protection for high-ranking officials. Manuel holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and Foreign Area Studies from the United States Military Academy at West Point and an MBA from Universidad Católica de Honduras.
