Salima Yala is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in analytics and decision management across various financial institutions. Currently serving as Executive Vice President and Chief Analytics Officer at Bank of the West, Salima has previously held leadership roles as Chief Data and Analytics Officer for US Personal and Business Banking at BMO Harris Bank and as Vice President of Marketing Analytics and Enterprise Modeling at Discover Financial Services. Salima's career also includes multiple positions at Citi Retail Services, where oversight of centralized, digital, and specialty merchant analytics was held. Earlier roles at Sears Holdings Corporation focused on financial services, including responsibilities as Divisional Vice President across various analytics functions. Salima holds a Doctorate in Physics from the University of Illinois Chicago and an Executive MBA from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management.
