David Duncan

David Duncan has a diverse work experience in the hospitality, real estate, and financial industries. In 1987, they started their career as a Senior Manager at EY, where they worked for ten years. In 1998, they joined GE Capital as the CFO of Real Estate Capital Markets until 2000. From 2001 to 2003, they worked at Guggenheim Partners as a Managing Director. David then joined Denihan Hospitality Group in 2003, where they served as President for over a decade. In 2014, they founded Duncan Ventures and worked as the Principal until 2015. From 2016 to 2018, they worked at JC Resorts, focusing on real estate and lodging. Currently, they are the President and CEO of First Hospitality Group, Inc. since January 2020.

David Duncan attended Western Michigan University from 1981 to 1985, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree. David later became an Adjunct Professor at Boston College's Carroll School of Management. No specific dates or details were provided regarding their time at Boston College.
