Keenan Covington

Keenan Covington is an accomplished marketing and communications professional with extensive experience in leadership roles. Currently serving as the Vice President of Marketing and Communications at Venture For America since January 2020, Keenan has also held positions as Director of Marketing and Marketing Manager within the same organization. In addition to this, Keenan contributes to First Independence Bank's Next-Gen Board of Advisors, focusing on empowering future leaders through corporate engagement and leadership development. Prior experience includes roles as Integrated Marketing Specialist and Special Projects Coordinator at Crain's Detroit Business from February 2015 to January 2020, and Supervisor at The Greening of Detroit from May 2012 to August 2014. Keenan holds a Master of Science in Public Relations and Corporate Communication from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Michigan State University.
