Charlotte Baker

Charlotte Baker has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Charlotte most recently worked at First Insight, Inc. as an Account Manager since March 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Insight Specialist at the same company from March 2021 to March 2022.

Before joining First Insight, Inc., Charlotte worked at The Dune Group as an Assistant Buyer from January 2019 to December 2020. Their role involved the development and management of departments across footwear ranges, attending supplier meetings and trade shows.

Charlotte also worked at River Island, where they held various positions starting as a Sales Assistant in July 2008, then as a Sales Associate at Next Ltd from June 2009 to January 2013. Charlotte later returned to River Island as a Buyer Admin Assistant, Senior Buyer Admin Assistant for Petites, and ultimately as a Senior Buyer Admin Assistant for Dresses/Jumpsuits.

In addition to their retail experience, Charlotte has worked as a Visual Merchandiser at Ted Baker from May 2015 to August 2016. During this time, they also had a brief Buying Internship. Charlotte was also a Visual Merchandiser at Cath Kidston from November 2014 to May 2015.

Before that, they gained experience as a Fashion Design Intern at Monsoon Accessorize from September 2014 to October 2014, and as a Studio Assistant Intern at JANE CARR from June 2013 to July 2013.

Charlotte Baker has a diverse education history that includes studying various fields related to fashion and sustainability. In 2010-2011, they pursued a Foundation degree in fashion textiles at the University of Bedfordshire. Following this, from 2011 to 2014, they attended the University of Lincoln, where they completed a Bachelor of Arts (hons) degree in Fashion Design. In 2016, they enrolled at the Fashion Retail Academy, focusing on Introduction to Buying and Range Planning. In 2020, they returned to education at the London College of Fashion, University of the Arts London, where they studied Fashion and Sustainability. Charlotte also pursued Sustainability Studies at the same institution during that time. In addition to their fashion-related studies, in 2020, they briefly extended their knowledge in the field of business by undertaking a course on Business Futures: Understanding Omni-channel Retailing and Supply Chains at RMIT University.
