Barb Gerken

Barb Gerken currently serves as the Director of Compliance for the Central Region at Risk Strategies Company since July 2023 and also holds the position of Director of Client Services. In addition, Barb Gerken has been with First Insurance Group since September 2014, where responsibilities include serving as SVP/Director of Client Innovation & Employee Benefits Compliance and V.P., Director of Employee Benefits Compliance, focusing on compliance with state and federal insurance legislation. As Legislative Chair for the Ohio Association of Health Underwriters since October 2018 and previously Regional Sales Manager at Cornerstone Broker Insurance Services, Barb Gerken brings extensive experience in the insurance industry, starting with an account executive role at Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield from January 1988 to April 2011.
