Heather Whitaker

Heather Whitaker has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Heather began their career in 1989 as an Executive Administrative Assistant at USA Gymnastics, where they were involved in events management and international travel arrangements. Heather then transitioned to the education sector, working as an Intermediate School Teacher at the Mt. Vernon Community School Corporation from 2001 to 2008. Heather later served as the Middle & Intermediate School Assistant Principal and then as the Elementary School Principal at the same school from 2008 to 2017. Heather gained valuable government experience as a Special Assistant at the U.S. Department of Education from 2017 to 2018, and as an Executive Assistant to the Vice President of the United States at The White House from 2018 to 2019.
