Lis Leckey-Swanson

Lis Leckey-Swanson is a seasoned data professional with extensive experience in data governance, business intelligence, and application development. Currently serving as the Data Governance Manager at First Interstate since May 2022, Lis oversees the development of a Data Steward program and the implementation of enterprise-level software to enhance data lifecycle management. Previous roles include Senior Business Intelligence Analyst at Great Western Bank, Database Administrator at Total Card, Inc, and Data Analyst at The Evangelical Lutheran Good Samaritan Society, where major upgrades to Cognos were implemented. Additional experience as a Data Scientist at VT Industries involved creating and maintaining over 100 Cognos reports, while earlier positions included application development and database management at various organizations. Lis holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from South Dakota State University.
