Jashan Jot

Jashan Jot is an experienced data science and analytics professional currently serving as the Lead at First Majestic Silver Corp. since April 2022, where responsibilities include managing multiple data sources, enhancing data governance, and implementing analytical methodologies across departments. Previously, Jashan worked as a Data Engineer at BGC Engineering Inc., focusing on data visualization and management strategies. Jashan also held various roles, including Graduate Teaching Assistant at UBC Engineering, Graduate Councillor at the Graduate Student Society, and Research Development Intern at Mitacs, alongside earlier experience as a Junior Software Developer and Research Assistant. Jashan holds a Master of Engineering in Electrical and Computer Engineering from UBC and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Engineering College.
