Sami Rahman

Sami Rahman has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. They are currently the Director of Data at HYPEBEAST since August 2023. Previously, they held the position of Head of Data Engineering & Data Platform at Penguin Random House UK from August 2021 to August 2023. Before that, Sami worked at PwC as an Analytics Specialist Manager from April 2021 to August 2021. Prior to PwC, they worked at HSBC in multiple roles, including Fraud Data and Machine Learning Services Manager, Product Machine Learning Manager, and Senior Digital Analyst. Sami also has experience at Essence as a Senior Analytics Executive and Analytics Executive, and they began their career as a Business Psychologist at The Chemistry Group.

Sami Rahman has pursued a variety of educational opportunities throughout their career. They completed an Advanced Diploma in IT Systems Analysis & Design at the University of Oxford. Additionally, they obtained an MSc in Countering Organised Crime and Terrorism (Engineering Security & Crime Science) from UCL. Prior to these postgraduate programs, Sami Rahman earned a BSc (Hons) in Psychology with Foundation from the University of West London. In addition to their formal education, Sami Rahman has also obtained several certifications. They became a Certified Business Psychologist through The Association for Business Psychology in April 2021. Furthermore, they acquired the certification of Business Transformation with Cloud from Google in March 2021. More recently, in May 2022, Sami Rahman attained the MLOps Genius certification from Valohai.
