Sergio Oliva Rangel

Sergio Oliva Rangel has extensive experience in the mining and metallurgy sector, currently serving as Gerente General de Plantas at First Majestic Silver Corp. since April 2008, where responsibilities include operational coordination for optimal results with plant personnel. Previously held positions included Ex-Director de Plantas y Procesamiento and Superintendente de planta, focusing on flotation and cyanidation processes as well as dynamic leaching. Prior experience at Minera El Pilon involved overseeing a plant with a capacity of 800 tons per day, achieving a 90% recovery rate for silver through dynamic leaching. Earlier career development occurred at Luis Min, supervising dynamic leaching plant operations. Sergio obtained a degree in Metallurgical Engineering from Universidad de Guanajuato, graduated in 1990.
