Emily Bennett

Emily Bennett, CPA, has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Emily started their career as an Internal Audit Intern at Infogroup in 2008. In 2009, they worked as an Assurance Intern at McGladrey and later as an Internal Audit Assistant at UNION BANK AND TRUST. Emily then joined McGladrey again as an Assurance Associate, where they worked from November 2010 to September 2013. Emily then transitioned to the First National Bank of Omaha, where they held various positions including Audit Associate, Sr. Analyst, Treasury Risk Management, and Sr. Treasury Analyst - DFAST Team. Since January 2018, they have been serving as the Finance Director at the First National Bank of Omaha. Overall, Emily's experience in finance, accounting, and auditing has equipped their with a strong foundation for their CPA career.

Emily Bennett, CPA obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a major in Accounting from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2009. Emily later pursued a Master's in Professional Accounting (MPA) with a specialization in Accounting at the same institution in 2010. In 2013, they obtained a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Permit to Practice from the Nebraska Board of Public Accountancy.
