Matthew Saliga

Lead Architect / Lead Developer, Milli at First National Bank of Omaha

Matthew Saliga has worked in various roles throughout their career. Matthew started their professional journey as an Information Technology Support Technician at Lander University from 2002 to 2004. During this time, they designed proposed work order/trouble ticket management systems and created client/server systems.

From 2004 to 2005, they worked as an Information Technology Support Technician at Optimum Technologies, Inc. Here, they delivered web design solutions to small businesses and implemented custom data-driven websites using PHP and MySQL.

Matthew then joined the United States Air Force in 2005 as an Operations Intelligence Analyst. In this role, they designed and implemented an automated workflow management and intelligence gathering system. Matthew also established a highly automated system to interface different client software with a PHP-driven web portal.

In 2009, Matthew became a Software Engineer at TEKsystems. Matthew engineered major software modifications, participated in agile full-life cycle development, and conducted research into new software development technologies.

In 2010, Matthew joined Lockheed Martin as a Software Engineer. Matthew provided architectural direction to proposal teams, led prototype development teams, and worked as the head of a technical volume team. Matthew continued working at Lockheed Martin until 2018, with roles including Software Engineer Sr and Lead Developer.

Since 2018, Matthew has been working at First National Bank of Omaha. Matthew took on the role of Lead Developer, Platform Innovation and Banking Platform from 2018 to 2019. Currently, they hold the position of Lead Architect/Lead Developer in Milli.

Matthew Saliga attended the Community College of the Air Force from 2005 to 2008, where they earned an Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degree in Communications Applications Technology. Prior to that, from 2002 to 2004, they studied Computer Science at Lander University.
