John Moody is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in media relations, issues management, and crisis communications. Currently serving as Senior Specialist Communications at the First Nations Health Authority since October 2018, Moody has also been a Communications Consultant since May 2014, working with clients throughout the NAFTA region. Previous roles include Special Adviser to Former President Felipe Calderon at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, Director General of Foreign Media at the Office of the President of Mexico, and CEO of The News, where Moody led the relaunch of Mexico City's only English-language daily. With a background as Director of the National Business Council on HIV and experience as a reporter for the New York Times and Bloomberg LP, Moody holds a BA in English Literature from the University of Bristol.
