Ian Hwang

Ian Hwang has extensive experience in education and employment management, currently serving as the Education and Employment Manager at First Place for Youth since October 2015, where responsibilities include overseeing program compliance and participant success. Previously, Ian held roles such as Workforce Investment Act Youth Case Manager and Employment & Education Case Manager at Multi-Service Center, where contributions included maintaining case files, exceeding program goals, and coordinating community resources for youth. Additional experience includes a Sales Associate position at Nordstrom, an internship as Juvenile Probation Counselor at King County Superior Court, and a Public Policy Intern role at Statewide Poverty Action Network. Ian Hwang holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Welfare from the University of Washington, completed in 2010.
