Chief Impact And People Officer at First Place for Youth

Emily Jensen, LMFT, has a diverse and extensive work experience in various leadership and therapeutic roles. Emily currently serves as the Chief Impact and People Officer at First Place for Youth, where they oversee the operations and strategic vision of the organization's programs. Prior to this role, Emily was the Vice President of Programs at First Place, where they provided strategic management and leadership for the organization's programs. Emily also worked as the Regional Director of Programs Northern California at First Place.

Before joining First Place for Youth, Emily worked as a Staff Therapist at Dr. Alan P. Childs & Associates and as the Director of Programs at America Works of Illinois, Inc.

Earlier in their career, they held roles at First Place for Youth as the Director of Northern California Programs and Assistant Director. Emily also worked as a Regional Manager at First Place, and they had multiple roles at YWCA of Silicon Valley, including Counseling Team Lead, Intensive Home Visitation Services, Rape Crisis Counselor, and Marriage and Family Therapist Intern.

Through their work experience, Emily Jensen has gained expertise in program development, organizational leadership, and therapeutic services, making their a valuable asset in their field.

Emily Jensen, LMFT received their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Psychology from Saint Mary's College of California in 2002. Following that, they went on to earn their Master of Arts (M.A.) in Counseling Psychology from Santa Clara University in 2005. Emily Jensen is also a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, certified by the State of California, Board of Behavioral Sciences.
