Tero Mattanen

Tero Mattanen has extensive experience in the mining and mineral processing industry, currently serving as the Commissioning Area Lead at First Quantum Minerals since October 2024. Prior to this role, Tero has held various positions at FQM Zambia and First Quantum Minerals, including Comminution specialist and Milling and Gold Superintendent, demonstrating a strong background in milling and crushing operations. Tero's career began at First Quantum Minerals as a Mill Shift Boss, followed by a position as General Foreman at Boliden Kevitsa. Tero's progression through different supervisory roles showcases expertise in integrated operations and a deep understanding of mineral processing systems.
