Tina Dhalwani

Tina Dhalwani has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Tina currently serves as the Principal- Venture Capital at First Rate Ventures, where they assist managing directors and partners in identifying investment opportunities, conducting due diligence, managing portfolio companies, and performing other duties. Additionally, they hold the position of Venture Capital Associate at the same company.

In their previous roles, Tina worked as The Deal Sourcer at The Founders Arena, where they identified global WealthTech and InvestTech companies for the Accelerator and established strategic partnerships with venture capitalists. Tina also worked as the Strategy Head - MENA Region at First Rate, Inc, where they explored the MENA region for global expansion and formed partnerships with local financial institutions.

Before that, Tina gained experience as a freelancer at Cloud and Forest and as a Relationship Manager- Preferred Banking at HDFC Bank, where they focused on client acquisition, relationship management, and product communication.

Earlier in their career, Tina worked as a Manager- Business Development at Cedrus Wealth Partners, where they assisted in preparing financial plans, conducted seminars and presentations, and managed budgeting and cash flows. Tina initially started as an intern at the same company, conducting primary research and designing frameworks for HNI clients.

Tina's work experience also includes a role as a Financial Analyst at Metro Cash and Carry, where they prepared operating reports, coordinated invoices, and maintained communication with stores.

Tina Dhalwani completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Finance from Savitribai Phule Pune University in 2014. Tina then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance from Neville Wadia Institute Of Management Studies and Research, which they completed in 2018.

In terms of certifications, Tina obtained the Qualified Personal Finance Professional (QPFP) certification from Network FP in April 2020. In February 2021, they acquired the NISM-Series-V-A: Mutual Fund Distributors Certification Examination from the National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) as well as the Insurance Corporate Agent (Composite) certification from the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority. Furthermore, Tina obtained the Microsoft Office Specialist Excel 2013 certification from Microsoft in November 2017. Most recently, in November 2022, they completed the Finance Accelerator Simulation program provided by AmplifyME.
