Dale Porter has over four decades of experience in the banking and finance industry. Dale began their career as a Computer Operator at Pee Dee State Bank in 1971 and worked their way up to become the Cashier (CFO) before leaving in 1998. Throughout their career, they held various roles at different banks, including Centura Bank and First Reliance Bank, where they served in positions such as Service Specialist, Executive VP & CFO, and VP and Sr Loan Administrator. Dale's expertise spans deposit operations, branch administration, loan administration, and financial management.

Dale Porter completed an Associate of Science degree in Data Processing from Florence Darlington Technical College in 1971. Following this, they obtained a Certificate in Banking from the University of South Carolina in 1978. In 1981, they earned a Diploma in Community Bank Management from the Wisconsin School of Business. Lastly, in 1988, they completed a Bank Management Program at Duke University - The Fuqua School of Business, also receiving a Diploma.
