Mike Sharkey

Mike Sharkey has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. Mike started their career as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Ball Aerospace in 2001. Mike then joined the company as a Lead Mechanical Engineer in 2002, where they worked on high-profile Department of Defense (DoD) projects and managed the JSF test cell. In 2008, they transitioned to FIRST RF Corporation, where they initially served as a Mechanical Engineer until 2014. During this time, they were responsible for managing a market segment in the mmW and Mechanisms area, overseeing the technology roadmap and executing DoD contracts. From 2016 onwards, Mike became the President of FIRST RF Corporation.

Mike Sharkey earned a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines, where they studied from 1998 to 2002. Mike further pursued their education at the same institution and obtained a Master's Degree in Engineering and Technology Management from 2001 to 2002.
