Bryan Skarbek

Bryan Skarbek is an experienced professional in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as the Manager of Test Site Operations and previously as a Systems Reliability Engineer at First Solar since October 2012. With expertise in the reliability of Balance of Systems (BoS) equipment for utility-scale power plants globally, Bryan's background also includes roles such as General Manager at EIC/Comforthome, where utility contracts were managed, and business development was pursued. Prior to that, Bryan worked as a Photovoltaic Design Engineer at The Solar Center, designing solar systems for commercial and residential applications. Bryan's engineering career began at Intertek as a Project Engineer, evaluating equipment to various standards, and includes experience at LSI Corporation and Sharp Electronics Corporation as a Modem Certification Engineer and Product Safety Engineer, respectively. Bryan holds a Bachelor's of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Northern Michigan University.
