Shruti Menon

Shruti Menon is an Associate Data Scientist at First Solar, holding this position since March 2023. Prior to this role, Shruti was a Data Scientist at GKN Automotive for a brief period in early 2023 and served as a Research Assistant in the Intelligent System Lab at the University of Michigan-Dearborn from August 2022 to January 2023. During the research assistantship, Shruti implemented a Computer Vision program for automated face detection, which significantly reduced manual effort, and developed various machine learning and deep learning models for road surface classification. Earlier experience includes a role as a Software Engineer at L&T Technology Services Limited from August 2018 to January 2021. Shruti holds a Master's degree in Data Science from the University of Michigan-Dearborn (2023) and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering (2018).
