Wei Quan Tjoeng has a diverse work experience, starting with a position as a Concession Worker at the Polynesian Cultural Center from September 2010 to July 2011. They then worked as a Bookstore Receiving Clerk at Brigham Young University Hawaii from November 2011 to October 2012. Tjoeng also held the role of Vice President of Fellowship at the Malaysia and Singapore Club from April 2012 to August 2012.
In 2013, Tjoeng joined First Solar, initially working as a Junior Analyst in the FP&A department from October 2013 to August 2015. During this time, they were responsible for preparing reports and analyzing fixed costs, as well as managing purchase requisitions. From August 2015 to March 2016, Tjoeng took on the role of Financial Analyst I, supporting the EPC, IT, and Finance & Accounting departments by preparing reports and budgets. They also assisted with IT monthly cost allocation.
Tjoeng then became a Financial Analyst I in the FP&A department from March 2016 to September 2017. In this role, they provided support to the R&D department through spending and business case analysis. They also worked on coordinating with other departments to improve the budget control for R&D projects.
From October 2017 to May 2019, Tjoeng held the position of Finance Analyst II in the FP&A department. Their responsibilities included financial planning and analysis for the company. They then became a Senior Financial Analyst from May 2019 to August 2021.
Currently, Tjoeng is working as a Lead Financial Analyst at First Solar, starting from August 2021.
Wei Quan Tjoeng earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Management with a Finance emphasis from Brigham Young University-Hawaii, where they attended from 2010 to 2012. In November 2023, they obtained a certification in Syntrio US Workplace Harassment and Discrimination General Non-Manager.
