Melissa Wober has a diverse work experience starting from 1998 with First Union as a Financial Specialist. Melissa then worked as a World History 9-12 teacher and Varsity Cheerleading Coach at Lumberton Highschool from 2003 until 2005. Melissa joined BB&T in 2005 as a Banking Officer, eventually becoming a Financial Leader III and Assistant Vice President. Melissa then moved to First South Bank in 2012, where they currently hold the role of City Executive and Commercial Banker, with a focus on providing financial solutions and assistance to clients.

Melissa Wober holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management, General, which they completed at Limestone University from 1996 to 1997. Melissa also pursued a degree in Accounting and Business/Management at Charleston Southern University between 1991 and 1993. Moreover, Melissa specialized in Secondary Education and Teaching, with a minor in History, during their enrollment at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke from 2003 to 2005.
