Jerry Pelphrey

Jerry Pelphrey has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Jerry started their career as an Assistant Basketball Coach at Milligan College in 1994, followed by similar roles at Gardner-Webb University and East Tennessee State University. In 2000, they joined Eastern Kentucky University as an Assistant Basketball Coach.

Jerry transitioned into the banking industry in 2002, where they worked as an Assistant Vice President at First Southern National Bank until 2004. Jerry then moved to People's Community Bank as an Assistant Vice President from 2004 to 2006. Following this, they served as the Vice President of Commercial Banking Group at SunTrust Bank from 2006 to 2009.

From 2009 to 2013, Jerry worked as a Sr. Commercial Lender at TruPoint Bank. In 2013, they returned to First Southern National Bank and held various roles, including Business Development Officer, Community President, and currently as Regional President since June 2018.

Jerry Pelphrey attended Paintsville High School from 1985 to 1989, but did not obtain a degree or pursue a specific field of study during this time. Jerry then enrolled at East Tennessee State University from 1989 to 1994, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Business with a major in Marketing.
