Chris Phillips

Chris Phillips has extensive experience in the banking and mortgage industry. Chris is currently serving as the Vice President of Mortgage Operations at First State Bank, where they manage a team responsible for loan originations, investor relationships, and compliance. Prior to this, Chris was the Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer at Cloud Lenders, overseeing the strategic and operational vision for a startup mortgage company. Chris also held roles as the Executive Vice President & Chief Administrative Officer at Cendera Funding, where they managed quality control and compliance efforts, and as a Vice President at North Texas Bank, N.A., where they played a key role in growing branch loans and deposits. Chris started their career at Prosperity Bank / Northwest Bank, where they served as the Banking Center President and held various other positions, being responsible for branch performance and overseeing the conversion process after an acquisition.

Chris Phillips graduated from Texas A&M University in 1999. Chris earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a specialization in Finance.
