Jeremie Axe serves as the President of Medical Staff and Orthopaedic Program Director at Encompass Health since December 2016, while also working as an Orthopaedic Surgeon and Partner at First State Orthopaedics since July 2015. Fellowship trained in shoulder and sports orthopaedic surgery, Jeremie Axe has held positions as a Board Member for the Orthopaedic Research and Education Foundation since November 2018 and previously for the Medical Society of Delaware from January 2020 to December 2022. Additional experience includes an Orthopaedic Fellowship in Shoulder/Elbow Service at Massachusetts General Hospital (August 2014 - July 2015) and a Sports Fellowship at the American Sports Medicine Institute under Dr. James Andrews (August 2013 - July 2014). Jeremie Axe completed an Orthopaedic Residency at Tufts Medical Center from July 2008 to June 2013 after earning a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from Thomas Jefferson University (2004 - 2008) and a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from the University of Delaware (2000 - 2004). Education started at Salesianum School (1996 - 2000).
