Amanda Barker GAICD serves as the Head of Corporate Sustainability & Social Impact at Aware Super, where responsibilities include the development and execution of a national Corporate Sustainability Strategy focused on ESG, Governance Reporting, Gender Equality, Indigenous Engagement, and Sustainable Development Goals. In addition to this role, Amanda is a Board Member at Gender Equity Victoria and has previously contributed as a Subject Matter Expert at the Australian Sustainable Finance Institute and Head of Sustainability at VicSuper. Notable past positions also include Senior Business Consultant at the Australian Human Rights Commission and General Manager of Education, People, Community, Diversity, and Inclusion at Carlton Football Club, where Amanda developed a Corporate Social Responsibility Strategy recognized by the United Nations. With extensive experience in advocacy, strategy development, and community engagement, Amanda has a strong educational background that includes a Graduate of Company Directors qualification from the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Business Management degree from Swinburne University of Technology.
