Lasudc Treatment Support Specialist at First Step House

Rylee Johnson-Wheelock, LASUDC, is a dedicated professional with substantial experience in substance use disorder counseling and case management. Currently serving as a Licensed Advanced Substance Use Disorder Counselor at First Step House since September 2021, Rylee has also contributed to the University of Utah as the first CSW and SUDTTC apprentice, helping to establish a pivotal training program. Previous roles include Clinical Assistant at OCD Anxiety Centers, where Rylee facilitated therapeutic sessions, and Lead RBT at Affinity Autism Services, providing essential support in autism-focused behavioral health. Rylee holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Criminology and Psychology, as well as a minor in Sociology from the University of Utah, complemented by a certification in Social Service Work and a training program in Substance Use Disorder Treatment.
