Charles Holmes has extensive experience in the ophthalmology industry. Charles began their career in 1992 at Alcon, where they held various roles, including Area Director for Asia Pacific, US Director of Specialty Medicine, Associate Director of US/Global Training, and Senior Brand Marketing Manager, Franchise Lead. In 2009, they moved to Bayer, where they served as Global Strategic Marketing for EYLEA in Ophthalmology. Charles's responsibilities included the global launch of EYLEA in the US, EU, Japan, China, Asia, and Latin America, as well as demand creation activities, business development, and lifecycle projects. In 2019, Holmes joined Allergan as Vice President and Head of Global Ophthalmology, where they led the integration of Allergan's Ophthalmic business into the AbbVie organization. Most recently, they accepted the role of Chief Commercial Officer at EyeYon Medical in 2022.
