James B.

James B. is an experienced IT infrastructure professional with a strong background in storage and virtualization. Currently serving as a Senior Infrastructure IT Engineer at First Tech Federal Credit Union since August 2018, James has a lengthy career at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, beginning in 1996 and progressing through various leadership roles, including Master Technologist and Infrastructure Domain Lead for a private cloud project. Prior roles at Hewlett Packard Enterprise emphasized expertise in storage management and infrastructure development. James also worked as a Program Analyst for the State of Oregon from 1989 to 1996. Academically, James holds a BS in Geology from Portland State University and has attended other educational institutions, including Chemeketa Community College and Willamette University.
