Noel Magana

Noel Magana has over 15 years of experience in the IT industry. Noel has held various leadership positions at different companies, including First Tech Federal Credit Union, Addison Avenue Federal Credit Union, and Comcast Cable.

At First Tech Federal Credit Union, Noel has been serving as the Vice President of IT Applications, Operations & Enterprise Solutions since July 2022. In this role, they oversee the performance, reliability, maintenance, and security of banking systems. Noel manages a team of managers and reports and handles budgets and contracts.

Prior to their current position, Noel worked as the Senior Director of IT Operations at First Tech Federal Credit Union from April 2017 to July 2022. Noel was responsible for managing the performance and security of banking and back-office systems.

Before joining First Tech Federal Credit Union, Noel held a Senior Manager position at Addison Avenue Federal Credit Union, where they directed the management and improvement of critical banking applications.

At Comcast Cable, Noel served as the Lead Data Center Administrator, managing physical and logical data center operations and overseeing server maintenance and storage architecture.

Throughout their career, Noel has achieved significant accomplishments, such as reducing help desk tickets and improving ticket resolution times by implementing self-service functions, streamlining PC deployment times, and reducing costs through storage and backup solution replacements.

Noel Magana earned a Bachelor's degree in Genetics from the University of California, Davis in the years 1992-1997. They also hold several additional certifications including Agile Certified Product Owner and Agile Certified Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance, ITIL Foundation Certified in IT Service Management from People Soft Group, Cobit 5 Foundation from Global Knowledge, and Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) and Six Sigma Yellow Belt from Global Knowledge.
