Glyn Hellam

Glyn Hellam is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in corporate communications and media relations. Currently serving as Head of Corporate Communications at TransPennine Express since November 2021, Glyn previously held the position of Media Relations Manager at Northern and Arriva Rail North. Early career roles include Head of Communications at CIRAS and National Pressdesk Manager at British Transport Police, where responsibilities included developing media strategies and managing press teams. Glyn’s background also includes roles at Cheshire Police and Mid Cheshire Guardian Series. Glyn holds a degree in Multimedia Journalism and Business from the University of Manchester, complemented by further education and accreditation from NCTJ and Liverpool Community College.
