April Reppy Suydam

April Reppy Suydam currently serves as the Head of Latin America Sales and Distribution at First Trust, a role focused on collaborating with financial institutions across Latin America to deliver ETFs, mutual funds, and tailored investment solutions. Prior to this position, April accumulated extensive experience at Vanguard in various capacities, including Project Lead in the Business Development Group, where emphasis was placed on process improvement and change management, and in the Business Management Office of the International Division, where strategic transformation of regional efforts into a global business was a key responsibility. April also honed leadership and process improvement skills through participation in the competitive Vanguard Accelerated Development Program and began a career in financial services as a Bilingual Client Relationship Associate, educating clients about investment products in both English and Spanish. Academic credentials include a Global MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Business Administration from Hanover College.
