Dan Lewis serves as the Senior Vice President of Commercial Lending at First United Bank Texas since May 2015, focusing on all types of commercial lending with a specialization in commercial real estate financing. Prior to this role, Dan held the position of Senior Vice President of Commercial Lending at Prosperity Bank following a merger with American State Bank from September 2012 to May 2015, and previously served in a similar capacity at American State Bank from 1997 until the merger. Dan's extensive experience in commercial lending began with roles at Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, including Associate Bank Examiner and Financial Analyst, from 1989 to 1997. Dan holds a B.B.A. in Finance from Hardin-Simmons University, where education was completed between 1986 and 1989, following attendance at Borger High School from 1983 to 1985.
