James Kahler

James Kahler is a seasoned finance and operations executive with over 30 years of experience in the real estate industry. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of Operations and Asset Management at First Washington Realty, Inc. since June 2010, James has played a significant role in the growth and development of the company. Prior to this, James was a key member of the formation team at Capital Automotive REIT from 1997 to May 2010, where responsibilities included overseeing a successful $375 million IPO and the acquisition of over 120 properties. James’s earlier career includes positions at Arthur Andersen LLP as an Audit Senior. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, Marketing, and Statistics from the University of Maryland, completed in 1993.
