Joe Baio

Joe Baio has over 30 years of work experience in the mortgage and financial services industry. Joe is currently the Director of Secondary Marketing at First Western Trust, a position they have held since September 2020. Prior to this, Joe held various roles at First Choice Loan Services Inc., including Senior Vice President - Secondary Marketing/Collateral Services from October 2006 to July 2020. During their time at First Choice Loan Services, Joe played a key role in building and supporting their mortgage platform, managing a multi-billion dollar annual mortgage pipeline, and overseeing daily pricing and lock desk functions. Joe also developed and launched various mortgage products and managed relationships with agencies, major conduits, and broker dealers. Before joining First Choice Loan Services, Joe served as the Director of Capital Markets at Citizens Community Bank and the Director of Secondary Marketing at WWFR Inc. Joe also gained experience as a Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley, a Correspondent Trading Desk at US Clearing Corp, an Assistant Branch Manager at Countrywide Home Loans, and an AVP - Operations at GMAC Mortgage. Joe began their career as a Team Leader at PNC Mortgage. Throughout their career, Joe has demonstrated strong expertise in secondary marketing, mortgage production, risk management, and relationship management.

Joe Baio attended the City University of New York-College of Staten Island from 1990 to 1994, where they pursued a degree in Business Administration. Joe obtained additional certification in Finance Strategies for Business Leaders from LinkedIn in August 2022.
