Currently serving as the Head of Production for the Americas and Executive Producer for Special Projects at FIRST since September 2021, Karla has a proven track record of success, including notable roles as Executive Producer for Superfly, managing award-winning events such as the Small Business Live presented by TikTok and various Verizon Media projects. Previous positions at FIRST involved significant contributions as Executive Producer for major industry events, such as Sibos 2019 and the Oath Newfront. Karla's career also includes impactful roles at Wasserman, Barkley Kalpak Agency, and other notable organizations, demonstrating exceptional skills in project management, client relations, and event execution. Karla holds Bachelor's Degrees in History and Tourism and Travel Services Management from Clemson University.
