Astyn R. has extensive work experience in the banking industry. They most recently served as the Director of Risk Governance at FirstBank starting in 2023. Prior to that, they were the Head of Enterprise Change Management (ECRM) at Truist from 2021 to 2023. Astyn also held positions at Cadence Bank, N.A. as the SVP, Director of Operational Risk from 2018 to 2021, and as the SVP, Model Risk Manager from 2017 to 2018. They began their career at Regions Bank, where they held various roles including Third Party Risk Manager, Model Risk Governance Manager, Senior Model Risk Analyst, Enterprise Risk Analyst, and CRE/HBF/LIHTC Construction Loan Analyst/Loan Closing Specialist. Astyn's work experience demonstrates their expertise in risk management and governance within the banking industry.

Astyn R. holds a Bachelor of Architecture (BArch) degree from Auburn University. They also obtained a Master of Science (MsF) degree in Finance from the same institution.
