Ahmad Zakaria

Ahmad Zakaria has a diverse work experience across various companies. Ahmad started their career as an Analyst at Accenture in 2006 and then moved on to work as a Senior Consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton from 2007 to 2010. During this time, they advised US Government agencies on technology infrastructure and was involved in business development projects.

In 2011, Ahmad interned with Apple's Financial Planning and Analysis team, where they focused on streamlining the Treasury foreign exchange hedging process. Ahmad designed an extensive Excel model for predicting accurate unit forecasts of Apple products.

Joining Apple Inc. in 2012, Ahmad took on the role of Lead Supply Demand Planner in the WW Operations Product Planning division. Ahmad was responsible for worldwide supply and demand planning for Apple Watch and iPad, ensuring company financial targets were met while maximizing inventory efficiency.

In 2012, Ahmad briefly worked as a Product Manager for Daraz.pk at Rocket Internet GmbH before returning to Apple in 2012 as a Manager in Worldwide Product Planning and Operations. Ahmad led the global launch for multiple iPads and Apple Watch Edition, performed market sizing analyses, and worked closely with OEMs, factory operations, logistics, and procurement teams.

From 2017 to 2022, Ahmad worked at Allbirds, initially as the Director of Global Planning and Merchandising, then as the Head of Operations, and finally as the VP of Operations. Ahmad led Allbirds' Global Supply Chain and Customer Experience teams, managing all aspects of manufacturing, sourcing, costing, buying, planning, logistics, and warehousing to service their omni-channel customers worldwide.

Ahmad's most recent work experience is as a Vice President of Operations at Firstbase.com, starting in November 2022.
