Craig Hotchkiss

Craig Hotchkiss has over 25 years of experience in utility operations, currently serving as the Director of Operation Services for Ohio Edison and PennPower, a role held since December 2001. In this position, Craig is responsible for overseeing the planning, budgeting, and operations of the Transmission and Distribution system, which includes lines construction and maintenance, claims, and engineering for over 1.2 million customers. Previously, Craig held similar leadership roles at Jersey Central Power & Light, where responsibilities included directing operation services and support for 1.1 million customers. Craig's career at FirstEnergy began in 1999, with earlier positions at Cleveland Electric Illuminating and Ohio Edison, showcasing a robust background in utility management and engineering. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from The University of Akron and additional studies at Malone University and Texas A&M University.
