Susan Beaty

Susan Beaty, R.N., is president of the Eastern region and administrator of FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital-Hoke. She earned her associate degree in nursing from Clinton Community College in Plattsburg, N.Y.; her bachelor’s degree in nursing from SUNY College of Technology in Utica, N.Y.; and her master’s degree from Walden University in Minneapolis, Minn. Her previous nursing leadership experience includes positions with Duke University Medical Center, first as head nurse/clinic manager for the Bone Marrow Transplant Program and later as a nurse clinician and administrative supervisor for the Department of Medicine, Hematology/Oncology Associates. She joined Moore Regional Hospital in 1998 as a staff nurse and the assistant director of nursing for the Critical Care and Telemetry units. After a period of service with Scotland Memorial Hospital in Laurinburg, she rejoined FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital - Richmond in Rockingham and later served as clinical director of Oncology Services at Moore Regional. Beaty is a member of the Oncology Nursing Society and the Moore Regional Hospital-Hoke Board of Advisors.
