Javier Viloria

Javier Viloria is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in civil and structural design, particularly in hydropower and dam projects. Currently serving as Senior Engineering Manager at FirstLight since February 2024, Javier previously held the position of Senior Director - Hydropower and Dams at CIMA+ from November 2020 to February 2024. Prior roles include Senior Consultant at Kleinschmidt Associates, Engineering Manager (Energy) at WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, and Structural Engineer at WSP Canada. Javier’s career began as a Civil Engineer and Civil Designer at SNC-LAVALIN, with early experience as Project Engineer and Earthworks Lead Engineer at Grupo Eiffel. Javier holds a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from Universidad Metropolitana, obtained between 1993 and 1999.
