Aaron Stachel

Aaron Stachel is a Partner at FirstMile Ventures since March 2013, focusing on supporting founders in capital-efficient companies, particularly in Texas and Colorado. Previously, Stachel played a key role in launching the firm as Principal and participated in 31 investments. Prior experience includes serving as Principal at PV Strategies, managing fund operations and investor relations, and contributing to corporate strategy at Newmont Corporation through a leadership rotational program. Early career experience includes internships at Novinda and Colorado Springs Technology Incubator, as well as serving as an Aviation Officer in the US Army, where substantial leadership experience was gained. Stachel holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Systems Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point and an MBA in Finance from the University of Denver's Daniels College of Business.
