Rob Montgomery

Robert Montgomery is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in financial management and operational excellence across various industries. Currently serving as Financial Controller at FirstPort (UK) since December 2020, Robert leads the finance team, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. Previously held key leadership roles at FirstPort, including Director of Operational Excellence and Head of Service Charge Accounting, where Robert managed large teams and was responsible for critical financial processes. Prior experience at British Gas as Head of Strategic Planning & Forecasting and other finance-related positions highlights a strong background in strategic financial planning and analysis. Robert began a finance career at Vodafone after completing a BSc in Chemistry from the University of Warwick.
