Phil Davis

An industry veteran, Phil Davis joined the sales team in 2014 with 25 years of previous public safety and sales experience. Based out of western North Carolina, he looks forward to helping guide FirstWatch customers and prospects to fulfillment of their real-time data notification and reporting needs.

Phil started his career in public safety as a Firefighter/Paramedic in Florida before transitioning into the office to work as a Fire Safety Specialist and then a Planning & Research Officer. After deciding to change over to a public safety software career, he began by serving in a Customer Service role. Over time he transitioned to roles in Training, Project Management, Account Management, and Customer Service Manager before finally moving into Sales. Phil has worked for other public safety vendors such as GEAC (now known as Infor) and ZOLL Data Systems. A salesman now but a fire medic at heart, his fondest memories come from serving the public as a firefighter/paramedic.

He attended the University of North Alabama and received his state EMT and Paramedic certificates after training through the programs taught at St. Petersburg College. He also attended the Pinellas Vocational Technical Institute where he received his state firefighting training and FEMA’s National Fire Academy to study Public Education. Numerous other professional courses in sales, data management, and managing customer service organizations round out his education.
