Kristian Otto

Kristian Otto currently serves as the Christchurch Area Operations Manager at Firth Industries, responsible for the operational and P&L performance of four concrete plants, a laboratory/technical services team, and a customer services team in the Christchurch Metro area since January 2022. Prior to this role, Kristian held various positions at Winstone Aggregates, including Interim Wellington Quarries Manager, Canterbury Quarries Manager, and Wellington Quarries Supervisor, overseeing multiple quarries and managing full P&L responsibilities from January 2017 to January 2022. Kristian's career also includes experience as a Control Room Operator at Tarmac Building Products Ltd, focusing on cement manufacturing operations, and as a Readymix Plant Manager at Lafarge, where operational management of readymix concrete plants was a key duty. Kristian began in the industry as a Mechanical Engineering Apprentice at Lafarge, earning a distinction through a SEMTA apprenticeship. Kristian attended Barry College from 2006 to 2009.
