Barbara Christopoulou

Barbara Christopoulou is a Global Policy Analyst and Researcher at FiscalNote since January 2024. Prior to this role, Barbara served as a Translator and Research Assistant at the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Greece from September 2017 to December 2023. Experience also includes project management at Go2Greece HK and an internship at Boutari Shanghai Wine and YAMAS Shanghai. Barbara's early career featured work as a Translator for the UNESCO Chair on Education for Human Rights, Democracy and Peace at Aristotle University. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Chinese Studies from The University of Edinburgh, a Non-Degree Programme in Chinese Language from Fudan University, a Master's degree in Strategic Studies and International Policy from the University of Macedonia, and a Bachelor's degree in Political Studies and Diplomacy from the same institution.
