Craig Gurney

Craig Gurney has a diverse work experience that spans over several industries and roles. Craig began their career as an Audit Manager at Arthur Andersen, where they worked for three and a half years. Following this, they joined the NZ Treasury as a Financial Analyst for one year. Craig then moved to the Commonwealth Bank, where they served as a Management Accountant for almost two years.

In 2001, Craig joined Barclays Investment Bank, where they held various roles, including Manager, Financial Control, Associate Director and Director of Structured Capital Markets, and Director of Financial Control Projects. Craig worked at Barclays Investment Bank for a total of 11 years.

In 2012, Craig transitioned to Barclays, where they became the Director of Financial Reporting. Craig held this position for two years before joining Fiserv in 2014.

At Fiserv, Craig started as the EMEA Controller, overseeing a team of 45 accounting and finance professionals across seven different countries. Craig was responsible for all accounting, tax, and regulatory reporting for First Data's business units in the Europe and Middle East region. In 2022, they were promoted to the role of VP, International Controller.

Craig Gurney received their Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Accounting and Finance from Victoria University of Wellington. Craig completed their studies at the university from 1991 to 1994.
